TRANSPORTATION TO THE SYMPOSIUM:   

Airport Transportation: American Taxi offers a reliable service from O’Hare and Midway Airports to Hamburger University at the lowest rate. Call 630-920-9480 when you arrive at the airport and a taxi will arrive within a few minutes. The rate for a one way trip from O’Hare Airport to Hamburger University is $25.00. The rate from Midway Airport is $30.00.

IMPORTANT: Be sure you do not get into a “city” taxi. They will charge you double the meter fare for leaving the Chicago city limits!

Union Station Downtown Chicago: American Taxi 630-920-9480. The fare to Hamburger University is $40.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO HAMBUGER UNIVERSITY :   

From Downtown Chicago:
Take I-290 West from downtown Chicago to I-88 west (exit is on the left). As you approach the first toll booth on I-88 West stay to the right. Just after leaving the toll booth, take the first exit on your right toward IL-83 N/ Cermak Rd/ 22nd St.  Turn right (east) on Cermak Rd. Go ½ mile and turn right onto Jorie Blvd. Go 1 mile to 2815 Jorie Blvd on the left (east) side of the road. Drive back into the campus and follow signs to Hamburger University. Go past The Lodge and over the bridge. The Hamburger University building is on the left and the parking lot is on the right.

From Wisconsin & Northern Illinois:
Take I-90 or I-94 East to I-294 South – the Tri State Tollway. Exit at I-88 West. As you approach the first toll booth on I-88 West, stay to the right. Just after leaving the toll booth, take the first exit on your right toward IL-83 N/ Cermak Rd/ 22nd St.  Turn right (east) on Cermak Rd. Go ½ mile and turn right onto Jorie Blvd. Go 1 mile to 2715 Jorie Blvd on the left (east) side of the road. Drive back into the campus and follow signs to Hamburger University. Go past The Lodge and over the bridge. The Hamburger University building is on the left and the parking lot is on the right.

From Indiana and South Chicago Suburbs:
From Northbound I-294 – Tri State Tollway,turn onto I-88 West. As you approach the first toll booth on I-88 West, stay to the right. Just after leaving the toll booth, take the first exit on your right toward IL-83 N/ Cermak Rd/ 22nd St.  Turn right (east) on Cermak Rd. Go ½ mile and turn right onto Jorie Blvd. Go 1 mile to 2815 Jorie Blvd on the left (east) side of the road.  Drive back into the campus and follow signs to Hamburger University. Go past The Lodge and over the bridge. The Hambuger University building is on the left and the parking lot is on the right.

From the West Chicago Suburbs, Central Illinois, Southern Illinois and Iowa:
Take East bound I-80 to I-88 East. Exit at Midwest Rd.[Exit 136] Turn right (North) onto Midwest to 22nd Street, just over I-88.  Turn right (east) onto 22nd Street, and drive approximately 1 mile to Jorie Blvd, just past the I-88 overpass. Turn right (South) at Jorie and continue to 2815, on the East side of the street.  Drive back into the campus and follow signs to Hamburger University. Go past The Lodge and over the bridge. The Hamburger University building is on the left and the parking lot is on the right.

From Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio:
Take I-80 West to Northbound I-294 – the Tri-State Tollway. Turn onto I-88 West (right lane). As you approach the first toll booth on I-88 West, stay to the right. Just after leaving the toll booth, take the first exit on your right toward IL-83 N/ Cermak Rd/ 22nd St.  Turn right (east) on Cermak Rd. Go ½ mile and turn right onto Jorie Blvd. Go 1 mile to 2815 Jorie Blvd on the left (east) side of the road. Drive back into the campus and follow signs to Hamburger University.
