Women with early stage breast cancer may be eligible to participate in one of two clinical trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. The trials will compare the long-term side effects of removing only one or a few diseased lymph nodes, to the conventional method of removing a large number of underarm lymph nodes in women.
