That is the question the Presidents Cancer Panel will be asking at six
regional meetings scheduled throughout the US between now and May 2001. The
panel is inviting testimony from people who have met barriers in obtaining
access to care as well as from caregivers of all types. The first meeting was
held in Omaha NE in June 2000. Additional meetings are scheduled for Burlington
VT (September 14-15); Billings MT (October 12-13); Nashville TN (November
16-17); California (Jan. 2001); New Mexico (March 2001); and Washington DC (May

The Courage Awards: Everyday Heroes Fighting and Winning
Against Cancer is a new program created by Amgen, InTouch Magazine,
Cancer Care, and the Oncology Nursing Society to honor cancer survivors. The
twelve most compelling survivor stories will be profiled in InTouch Magazine in
2001, and the survivors will each receive a $1,000 award. To submit your story,

National Lymphoma Awareness Week, October 8-14, will end
with a two-day educational forum hosted by the Lymphoma Research Foundation of
