Caregivers Guide for Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplantation-
Practical Perspectives

A new guide with tips on caring for stem cell transplant patients
is now available from the National Bone Marrow Transplant Link. Produced with
support from the National Marrow Donor Program, the handbook offers insights
from patients, caregivers, social workers and health professionals about how to
navigate the often overwhelming world of caregiving. "More importantly," says
NBMT Link Executive Director Myra Jacobs, "it lets caregivers know they are not
alone, that it is worth the struggle and that their role is critically
important and appreciated."
The book can be ordered online at www.nbmtlink.org or by phoning 800-LINK-BMT. Copies
are $12 each or $10 for orders of 11 or more. Price includes tax and shipping.
