Your Turn

Dear Friends,

Spring has brought many new volunteers to our Patient-to-Survivor Link program. Welcome to all of you! If you are a transplant survivor or a family member, and would like to volunteer to help others facing a transplant, you can sign up for our Patient-to-Survivor Program at www.bmtinfonet.org/survivor.html. If you don’t have access to the internet, phone me at 888-597-7674 and I’ll be happy to talk with you.

The following people are looking for links. If you match the criteria they have requested, please phone me at 888-597-7674.

I would like to speak to anyone over 50 years old who was transplanted for Aplastic Anemia. B.P.

I would like to speak with people who had a tandem autologous transplant for multiple myeloma. I am particularly interested in talking with someone who had it done at Vanderbilt University E.B.

I would like to speak with people who had a regular transplant and then went on to have a mini-transplant for myelofibrosis. A.P.

I am looking for someone who had an unrelated mini-transplant for MDS or Waldenstron’s Macroglobulinemia. J.S.

We still need links for people who are facing a mini-transplant, double or tandem transplant, or a donor-transplant after having an autologous transplant. Please phone me or email me at jody@bmtinfonet.org if you think you can help any of these people.

Thanks!
Jody
