Possible Uses:Used in allogeneic transplants to treat or prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
Special Notes:Atgam is derived from horse serum and Thymoglobulin is derived from rabbit serum.
Possible Side Effects:Fever, chills, decreased or increased blood pressure, chest pain, fast heart beat, nausea, shortness of breath, diarrhea, irritation at injection site, decline in kidney function, swelling of mouth and throat.
