Possible Uses:Chemotherapy drug for patients with myelogenous leukemia. Used in larger doses as a conditioning agent in AML patients.
Special Notes:Can be given IV or orally.
Possible Side Effects:Decreased blood counts, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, temporary hair loss, increase in liver function tests, infertility, cessation of menstruation, dark spots on skin, itching, cataracts, seizures, lung damage. Larger doses may cause seizures.
