Possible Uses: 
Decrease swelling and allergic reactions, control nausea and vomiting, or may be used as part of a chemotherapy regimen. In allogeneic transplants, used to prevent graft rejection.

Possible Side Effects: 
Fluid retention, weight gain, increase in blood sugar, increase in white cell count, restlessness, anxiety, mood changes, sweating, redness in face, thinning skin, acne, increased hair growth, irregular menstrual periods, black bowel movements, muscle weakness or cramps.
