Celebrating a Second Chance at Life Symposium
New Options Coming Soon!
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other health officials are now recommending that “high risk” individuals minimize their risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID19) by avoiding events where a large number of people will be gathering. High risk individuals include those who are older and/or those who have underlying health conditions. These individuals have a greater risk of developing a severe case of the coronavirus than a healthy individual.
Since many of those who would attend the 2020 Celebrating a Second Chance at Life Survivorship Symposium fall into this “high risk” category, we are suspending plans for the May 2-3, 2020 live event at this time. We cannot risk jeopardizing the health of transplant survivors.
We are investigating other options to replace this live event that are safer. If you would like to be notified when we have our alternate plan ready, please click Notify Me button below.
We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to stay well by taking all precautions recommended by your transplant team and the CDC seriously.
