Participate in a Networking Group

Talk with others whose life has been touched by transplant.

Feeling overwhelmed after transplant?

You're not alone. Thousands of people are experiencing the same joys and challenges you now face after transplant.  Whether you are a transplant recipient or a family member or friend, you can gain great insight by talking with others who have had a similar experience.

BMT InfoNet will schedule several telephone Networking Groups the week of June 20-24 where survivors and their loved ones can talk with others who have been through transplant.

  • Learn how others are managing challenges after transplant
  • Share your experience and wisdom about living well after transplant
The networking groups will each last one hour and fifteen minutes, and will take place by phone. Each group session will be led by a social worker or other
therapist skilled at coordinating group discussions. All information shared in the group will be strictly confidential.

Participants will be grouped with others who have had similar experiences:
  • Transplant survivors
  • Caregivers of adult survivors
  • Transplant recipients dealing with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)
  • Parents/caregivers of pediatric transplant survivors
  • Other relatives of transplant recipients (adult children, parents of adult transplant recipients, etc.)

"The networking group was my favorite part of the symposium. It was refreshing to talk with other people who 'get it'. I learned a lot from my group and made some new friends."

If you would like to participate in one of these groups, please indicate that at the bottom of your registration form.  We will get back to you with more details.

Please note: Networking groups are not available for healthcare or industry professionals.
