CAR T-cell Therapy Clinical Trials

Your medical center may be testing a new CAR T-cell therapy that is not yet approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

Some medical centers are investigating CAR T-cell therapies that have not yet been approved by the FDA. These therapies may be available to you if you agree to participate in a clinical trial testing their safety and effectiveness.

For example, some centers are researching whether using CAR T-cells that are made from T-cells provided by a donor, rather than the patient, is a safe and effective treatment for patients.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Clinical Trial Support Center [2] has navigators who can help you find a clinical trial that is right for you.

The National Institute's of Health ClinicalTrials.gov [3] website also provides information about CAR T-cell clinical trials that are currently recruiting participants.
